I have a 2007 Suburban LT with the non-powered lift gate. I noticed last week that my rear hatch wouldn't open up. I had to drill out the peg in the hatch panel to get a screw driver in to release the latch lock on the actuator. I figured the unit was bad so I order a brand new unit from Rock Auto that came today. I put the new unit in and the truck still will not lock unlock. I verified that I'm getting power to the units but when I hit the lock/unlock buttons the unit does nothing. Is there something else I'm missing here? I'm really tight on cash and would hate to have to take this to the dealer to figure out. I've checked all my fuses and they were fine. I've even unhooked the battery to force reset the ECU and nothing. I'm kinda lost here and I need help to get this figured out asap.
