Hi All,

I just picked up a 2007 Denali. Having some issues with the rear DVD. If I put in a disk, it all works fine. But, if the disk is playing and we shut off the car, when we turn it back on it resumes playing on the NAV screen but cannot get it to come back on the rear screen.

Does this make sense? Any ideas?

Try turning the truck back on... (Sorry, couldn't resist)

Is it an OEM unit? What happens when you put it in drive and start moving? Is the RSE unit on when you restart?

You did not say whether it was the OEM unit, but what I was thinking is that maybe someone added an add-on module like a Lockpic or a PAC unit that is misbehaving. Just guessing...

Hey fellas, I'm having the same issue with my XL I just bought a couple weeks ago. Anybody have any other ideas?? Researching LockPik now, any way this could fix the issue??

Thanks in advance

I don't think the Lockpick would solve that problem. It only overrides factory settings, but it doesn't fix issues like that.

I bought an extended warranty that covers all electronics when I purchased it last month at the dealership. It has a $100 deductible, so I'm wondering if this is something they will cover.

I just ordered an updated NAV disc from gmnav. Should I wait to have Lockpick installed?

Still trying to decide on Lockpick or the PXAMG. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

As a general rule I don't start adding variables when trying to troubleshoot a problem. I would have the dealership that sold the vehicle to you fix the problem and then start adding things- not the other way around.

Anybody else out there got any thoughts on the rear DVD not resuming after restarting engine. Initial playing works, but when you turn off engine and restart, I got nothing, only a blank screen with no power :emotions122:
