rear axle play

First of all, Happy Easter everyone!!

Last night I did my rear brakes and on both sides I can push and pull my axle in and out almost a quarter of an inch, does this mean my rear end is going out? or is it nothing to worry about? I am kinda worried!!!! any help would be great!!! thanks!!!

dont be. you only have to worry if it comes out all the way.
