I've spent the last few hours searching these threads and haven't yet found my answer, or at least what I think might be the answer...
I have a 2011 Tahoe LTZ, rear unit blowing hot air only. Ordered new actuator, tried to install, but I can't the new actuator to release to be mounted, It seems like it's positioned too far towards the hot side. The positional actuator works fine. I tried swapping the actuators around, but still can't get the temp side to release. Makes no sense... I can feel the actuator move slightly, but then returns to heat side and is very tight. In making sure it isn't a refrigerant issue, I took the actuator off and manually moved the door and had plenty of cold air...Is it possible the rear main control module could be bad? Are there any other parts that I'm overlooking? Front works flawlessly.
