Program Master Window Switch?

07 Yukon XL 1500 5.3 Flex 4x4
Fixed pedals, standard mirrors, no heated seats

The Unlock button stopped working on the driver's "Master Switch". The locks work with key fob, etc. Just that specific unlock side of the switch stopped working. I ordered a replacement. Quick, easy install. Test it and the only function that works is the driver window up and down. OK????

I put the old switch back in. I'm better off. I start to return the new switch and decide to Google first. This new switch has to be programmed by a dealer? WTH??

Is there a workaround? This is ridiculous.

The only workaround is to use a Tech2 and TIS2000 with a laptop and subscription to program modules. If you don’t have a Tech2 it’s cheaper to have a dealer do it.
