Anyone else with these tail lights have a problem getting the sockets to line up to the new holes. My factory wiring on the right side was to short to put the upper bulb connector in the socket and mount it back up. I would have to extend the wires. Anyone else have to rig it up.

Just put them in a couple days ago. Harness is pretty tight but fit on mine. If they would have done the brake light in the center it would have made life easier.

There should be a clamp down under the truck, should be able to pull a little slack from there.
It worked on mine. Different lights though.

Nope no harness. Goes directly to the terminal block on right inside fender by spare tire. Tight as i could get it. Just gonna extend the cables.

Lights are all the same, just different retailers that sell them.

Mine are a very tight fit as well on the RT side. I just had to do that connector first and go down from there. No need to cut and splice wires for a tail light.

take a pic of the problem, so we can better assist

My right one was the one that was tight. Like Mike said start with the top one and go down from there.

I tried many ways. will try and post pics.

I looked again at mine and had to actually adjust the light downward so i could get the harness to plug in and just gently plugged in the rest. It was very tight, but worked.

Make sure the harness is not being held up by something. I.E. stuck on the body or something.

So I decided to install them.

No problems on left side aftermarket

Right side factory.

Problem. Since the bulbs go in opposite locations and brake light is on top it was just about an inch short on right one. Was tight from factory terminal bus..

So those are the smoked lights correct? Have a link to where you purchased them?
