Tybardy had an old post on TF.com asking for some additional advice on how to get prepped for a custom chip tune. So let's get this info back on our new site!

Preparation for custom Dyno-Tune or PCM tune:
-new air filter
-new fuel filter
-oil change

What else?

Maybe Seafoam
- Clean out the throttle body
- Clean/Spray the MAF
- Clean the IAC (Idle Air Control/Circuit)
- Check/Gap the plugs

Repairs you know about like intake gaskets, fuel pump, FPR, etc

Basically fix everything so the tuner can wring out more HP without compromising.

Should I do the e-fan mod before the tune? Would that make a difference???

I know it has to be turned on or use an aftermarket t-stat....I'm talking from a tuning perspective for performance gains. Thanks
