I am new to this forum, and this is my first post. I hope I am in the right place. I own a 2002 Tahoe 5.3 flex fuel with 24,000 miles on it.
I am going through a renewal process.
When I came across the power steering pump, I did not know about the EVO valve/actuator, so my replacement PS pump does not fit the bracket attached somewhere on the engine.
I have ordered the EVO conversion kit, but I would appreciate guidance on the bracket situation. Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

Your 2002 may of may not have had the EVO system, but it sounds like yours did. This system was an abject failure, and GM discontinued its use during the early 2000's, and in fact subsequently offered an EVO bypass tube to eliminate it on trucks that already had it installed. Look at the photo below, and determine/confirm if your original power steering pump had the EVO Solenoid valve connected to it.
