Possible electrical issue

2014 Yukon XL SLT. Whenever the vehicle is driven for more than about an hour I notice that the volt meter drops a good bit below 14 volts. None of my other GM vehicles do this (Corvette, Sierra dually). I don't notice it happening on short trips, like a grocery store run. Only on extended trips. I read the sticky on steady voltage - is this what I am experiencing? It concerns me enough that I took a photo of my gauge cluster.

Should I be concerned?

Normal. Its part of the charging system that reduces the load on the alternator and battery, when the battery is fully charged and you are driving for longer periods of time.

Since we are all chiming in-same for me in the SSV. I noticed it cycling up and down routinely when I drove home from AZ and Florida-nothing to worry about.

Thanks, guys. This is the first vehicle I've owned that did it. I was thinking I had a bum alternator. Makes sense that I only see it on the longer trips.
