Just bought a retired 2015 PPV. Wondering if anyone can tell me what some of the leftover equipment is, and if it can used by me.
First off it has three antenna's on it. What are they all for? I'm guessing one is for the am/fm radio, and another is for the two-way radio, but i'm not sure which one. And i don't know what the third one would be for. (data for the pc/internet?). Could i wire a CB radio into one?

The wires in yellow i'm pretty sure were for the light bar. Could it be used for my own light bar? where do the other ends of the wires go?

Second is these little pads on the dash under the windshield on the passenger side. No idea what they are.

And there there are these wires coming out of the pillars behind the drivers and passengers seats. What are they?

Then there is this light bar in the back window. Says "arrow left" and "arrow right" so i'm assuming it's just traffic hazard arrows.. Could i use thses? where would the ends of the wires go?

The hole in the last photo is where someone has removed the bracket that is screwed-in, where a tie down or rear elastic net can be fastened (on each side).

The small square thing on the dash looks like a GPS puck probably from the Dash Camera system, round thing appears to be some sort of foam mount or support for something?

Wires on the B pillars could be for running board lights? Maybe something electronic on the divider that would have been between officer and rear passenger. Looks like the passenger front seatbelt got cut and needs replacing.

both of them have wires coming out of them and going under the dash between the dash and the windshield. And there is maybe an inch between them and the glass, so no room to put anything on it.... it's to tight to get a pic from the inside, and from the outside the reflections mess up the pics.

Would the ham radio antenna be the wire one then? how is that different from a CB antenna? could it be used with a CB?
The small one on your roof is a VHF/UHF antenna.. 70 centimeters(UHF) and 2 meter wave length VHF) FM. CB uses 27mhz'ish AM frequency and the antenna is much larger because of the frequency wave length. A full wave length is like 32 feet or something like that for 27mhz. It'll work with FRS and GMRS frequency's..

That's a long way of saying no, CB won't work with those antennas.

The wires coming from the seat belt area near where the divider used to be, could have been for a shot gun locking mechanism, that was controlled by a button on the light / siren module between the front seats. The direction arrow stick in the back window probably was hooked up to the light / siren controller as well. The antennas were probably for uhf or vhf radios, scanner, and computer ( MDT, mobile display terminal) terminal connections. The GPS puck on the dash was also hooked up to the computer as well. Good luck with your new truck. I bought a 2015 PPV as well, and I simply LOVE IT !!! ❤️⭐
