Passenger rear door won’t unlock

Hey all, 03 Z71 Tahoe rear passenger side door will not unlock. When you hit the unlock button the actuator makes a noise but it does not unlock. If, however, I push the unlock button and hold it down the door will usually open.

Any ideas what on what is causing this?

Corroded switch contacts or worn out plastic hardware on lock/unlock rod actuator. That plastic crap dries out and gets very brittle.
