Absolutely NO excuse for door dings, weather we live in this world and that's the way it is, is NO excuse, how about a lack of RESPECT for some one else's unit.... the only door ding I got in my 1980 K 10 was at the parking lot at work, where there was an acre for the guy to park in, but he found it good enough to park close to ding my door................... needless to say he knew I was less than pleased.... no reason for door dings..... none

Last year my daughter came home with her ds mirror hanging and her door caved in on the almost new Cruze I bought her. Somebody backed out of the space next to her and of course didn’t leave a note. I was able to source a used door and mirror in the same color and swapped it over for $500. I hate these people, probably running around with zero insurance or tags.

That's the key word "No Insurance", We ( the responsible citizens) have insurance because it is the law. What happens to the people that drive around without it and get stopped get a ticket? NOTHING, absolutely nothing, they have an accident , we pay with higher insurance cost.......Grrr don't get me started.

OMG, they are out there driving among us. A dash cam is 100% a must now a days. The insurance companies should give us a discount for having one. Here is a clip off my dash cam. I gave the guy in the NEW pickup a copy of it for his insurance. ( look for it about 52 sec into clip)

People driving with no insurance should be sent to the front line with no ammo...... :lazer:When I lived in Dallas I let a friend borrow my at the time new Mazda CX5. He got rear-ended while stopped in a turn lane by a lady with tires balder than Steve Harvey. Dallas has vehicle inspections that require a tire check but that obviously didn't matter. The cop showed up about the time I did and when she asked for the lady's insurance the lady produced a long-expired insurance card but swore her husband just forgot to print the new one. The cop bought her BS and let her go with no ticket despite the fact she was driving recklessly in the rain with bald tires and hit a stationary car!!!! I called the insurance company that she claimed to have and they told me she only had insurance for 1 month and then it was canceled due to no payment. I ended up being stuck with a $7k repair bill and a new car with a massive accident on its history which ***** its resale value.

I was able to file a police report jump through some hoops and get her license suspended but I doubt that will stop her from driving and screwing someone else over.

That is why I make sure my auto insurance policy has , Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury/Supplementary Uninsured Motorist.
For those that choose to be under insured and uninsured.
It has come in handy more than once.

You can bet I have it now. That car ended up getting hit 2 more times the same year all accidents were while stationary and not my fault. I had to sell it to Carmax to get rid of it.

Yessir. I had $50k vehicle/ $50k bodily injury on my badass Harley Street Glide I built and some dumbass kid with no license or insurance pulled right out in front of me and stopped because he had nowhere to go. I t-***** him at 40. I ended up maxing both those limits out- I had to get an independent appraisal on the bike but I had all the receipts, $35k in parts plus the cost of the bike so I got $ 48k and I was off work for a year with 2 broken shoulders so that $50k didn’t come close to covering medical and lost wages but it helped plus I got disability pay from my union.

It was a few years ago. My right shoulder had a complete AC joint separation and the first orthopedic surgeon I had said it was a minor, grade b partial separation and would heal in 3 months but after 9 months it wasn’t getting any better so I found another surgeon who told me it was a grade c complete separation and she said I might need reconstruction but decided to try steroid shots right into the joint. It worked and it doesn’t bother me at all anymore. Who needs ligaments lol, they’re completely separated. I have lost some motion though. My left shoulder had a broken socket and it healed fine.
