2019 Yukon Denali parking lights and brake lights stay on after turning truck off. Anyone else have this problem? Looked but didn’t find a solution. Thanks in advance!

My outside lights stay on (but not the brake light) for about 30 seconds or more, after I turn the truck off. Kind of a convenience thing for exiting the truck with some available outside light.

Up here to the right
It’s turned to off. Still on
Ok, just to be sure, third brake light is on correct?
Do this, start it up put your switch on auto and get a dark colored rag and cover the sensor on the dash, in the middle towards the glass see if the headlights come on, then remove rag and see if the go off.
I would then, with it running, go through each setting on the switch, parking then, headlights etc. back to off each time.
Does the switch on the dash spring back when you turn to off?
How does cruise work? Any problems? Could be the brake switch, adjustvthe pedals a little and see if brake lights go out. Hows your battery? Alot of weird dtuff goes on when the battery gets low on these trucks… heat is the number #1 killer of batteries, not cold

Check you brake pedal switch, it's on the arm of the brake pedal. If it's broken or faulty it will cause this issue

Not true if the CHMSL is functional but not illuminating with ignition off.

Check your settings (like @Joseph Garcia noted). Do you have a copy of your owner's manual?
