Painting my headlights what do you think??

Ok well im taking apart the stock headlights (bored) and going to paint them. Trying to decided if I should paint them white to match the Yukon or black. Planning on leaving the chome rings around the lights to the edge where I have the marker setting. And maybe smoking the side marker lense. What do you guys think will look the best and I already have the lights apart.

Here is our Yukon if it turns out good we may do the same with our projectors and see which one we like more.

I can't tell much on the last pic but I would completely remove the orange lens.

a neighbor has his color matched white. IMO I dont like it but thats just me. just go for it if u dont like it u can always paint them black

if your going to smoke the side markers id go black to match the front GMC. but ive seen color matched and that also looks good. gl.

hhmmm that looks like a matte white. my neighbor has his gloss. matte def looks better IMO. sorry cant get pics camera on my iphone is acting up for the second time in a month lol

Yeah I put them in my oven on 250 for 5mins then pulled apart with a flat blade, and still had to use a heat gun for the parts that was stuck real good

And yes it is matte white

Does painting them hamper light output? or is it just aesthetics?

light output doesnt change since your not painting the reflector.

so are you just going to leave the amber reflector off? An all clear one would look good IMO, but I have no idea if they make them like that

You want to see one that is all chrome just without amber ls that what you are saying? I still have to paint the other one so I can snap a picture of what that would look like for you.
