Hey Folks! I need the size of the screw that holds in the front overhead console. I have a ppv that came without one so I ordered one on eBay that doesn’t have the screws. I have tried all sorts and they are all too short (I am up to 3”). Any help or pics appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

which screw? when you take off the map light cover there should be a screw on each side (equal length), the forward part is held by 2 clips, did you post in the wrong year?

There’s no 3” long screws on the interior of any of these trucks much less longer than 3”. You must be missing a bracket.
he must be talking about a nbs, there is one screw it uses in the front but I don't think it is quite 3 inches

It is a 2011 PPV. There are two screws under the map light lens and two clips for the very front. I was hoping someone that has it open could send a pic of the screws and/or bracket.

Well I went out and pulled the ohc out of my 02 since somebody thought you were talking NBS then I read your last post where you said it’s an 11. I have an 08 Silverado but I’m not gonna pull that one apart. The last time I messed with the LED’s I put in for the domes I had a helluva time getting them to work. Hopefully somebody else can help. I do know I had that out before and the screws weren’t even close to 3”.

Well I took a closer look and the screw holes in the console are wider than the holes in the roof so it WAS a bracket. Called Chevy parts and they found it for me right away (probably should have started there). Part #15911047. I’m guessing this is more of a question for the ppv section where it is probably more common. Thanks anyway
