We're speaking to a dealership and trying swoop up this pre-order someone else made, but is now available. It happens to be the EXACT Yukon Denali we're looking for.

The dealership gave us the build sheet, complete with order #. The sheet says the event code is 3000- order accepted by production control. Dealership says it's awaiting production in Texas, but can't give us more details on timing.

Does anyone here know what the typical timing for delivery is, once an order reached status 3000?

Thank you!!

Depends on what the TPW (Target Production Week) is. Assume 4+ weeks from TPW.

Did the dealership give you a TPW? If not, did they give you the 6 digit order number (should be on the build sheet)? To get the TPW, you can go over to gminsidernews.com and find the order status thread and post there.

Thank you! No, I was not given a TPW but I do have a 6 digit order number. I will head to the website you posted... thanks so much!

My status was 3400 and TPW was last week. It did not get built yet. Also a heads up. Seems like most units from the beginning of April on are sitting in Midlothian Texas in a lot seemingly waiting on critical parts with no delivery ETA.

Thanks for the info! How long have you have you been at 3400 status?

TPW is 5/30. Does anyone know when they'll provide me a VIN?

Generally it is available from your dealer within a day or so of being produced (3800).
Ok thank you... do you know whether there is a link somewhere on this site where I can view the status orders? What's after 3000, and so on... etc. etc.

You can check with GM chat to get an update from the Chevy or GMC website. Just give them your order number and request the current event code and production week.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I know my order status is 3000 and TPW is 5/30 as of today. I just have no idea what's next... is it 3400, then 4000? Etc. I don't know all the lingo yet!

Mine has been in every code 3800 for a month now. No one can tell us anything. About ready to just pull out and get a truck.

No idea, but there isn't any reason to be checking daily.

Will the GMC Chat feature be able to tell me the status code? I messaged them and they said "Congratulations! Your vehicle has been produced. It is important to know that shipping arrangements will take place next and your selling dealer is the best source for additional detail on that process."

Any way to get order status without bugging my dealership (again)? :)

The dealer is the most accurate source, providing their willing to share, and many won't do that. Any other means will only be able to see the current event code and NOTHING else which is privileged dealer business information. Also keep in mind when you are talking GM chat you probably not talking to a GM employee but a outside company (located who knows where) hired to run customer service.
