Opinons about these projectors

Thoughts? I am considering picking these up and using the DDM HID kit with it. My other option is to stick with the OEM headlights with the HID's. These would be going on a Black LTZ

they dont look too bad, im not into that only cause its a truck not a honda civic, nah mean? i would stay with the stockers and add the DDMs - i posted to your other thread - it looks sweet! i installed mine just the other day so if you want to check out the pictures

I think they will look pretty good on your truck, being black and all. It would look even more dope if you are willing to pop em open and paint them to match!

Never liked how many unnecessary things that are going on with these type of lights. all the leds, halos, and crazy reflectors always threw me off. I agree tho if you were to paint everything black it would like pretty good but my suggestion is to just keep stocks and maybe black out your corners?

They are a little ricey. I thought they would look like the new Audi or Porsche ones, but I am a little worried they would look cheesy. Probably just going to stick with the OEM ones.

I dont overly care for all the bug eyes... but the LEDS are sick. I love the look Audi has created with those and if I ever get off my lazy ass I plan to try and mod up some LEDS in a similar fashion

hell yeah the audis are by far my favorite lighting set up! be one thing if they were just projectors but i dont know if the tahoes have enough curve to them like the audis to pull off the LEDs, i dunno maybe if they were done right...

That up-sweep from the front up to where the side marker is just doesn't go with any other lines on the front of the truck. I'd pass on these.

they're sick and you'd be one of the few to have them...so do you do what they say or do what you want? Also, funny how some upgrade the back with but don't like the fronts.....hmmmm why is that??

IMO it does not fit the truck. Stick with stock and add HIDs.

The reason why people upgrade the back in because there are more genuine backlights then headlights. Most aftermarket headlights scream out rice, as opposed to tail lights which if debadged and seen from the back along with break light keeps people guessing what truck it is. Plus there are soo many options for clean tail lights but so few for the projectors. I've been looking all over for some decent projectors with not too much going on.

Im not saying these lights look horrible but i dont like too much unnecessary things going on such as leds, halos and all that. and like one other user said, this is a truck not a honda civic.

As for the original member who posted this, i would also recommend the oem headlights. your tahoe has sick headlights, why change a good thing?

I personally think the OEM's are something to improve on. the ambers are big and ugly and the housing looks like its made of tin foil. These seem like a decent upgrade and cheap enough to turn around if you dont end up liking them. Or black out the OEM's housing.
