You can still put a spare on there even though you have 24's
How?
unbolt flat.. drop spare.. bolt spare up.. the overall tire height will be the same or damn close... even 2" doffrent will get your ass off the side the free way and to a tire shop.. the rims do not have to match..

i guess it was so basic I didn't feel the need to. It is literally no different then swapping out your stock bumper cover. Only difference is an exhaust shop reroutes the exhaust. I posted pics of the exhaust routing on my wife's build thread, guess it didn't make it as viral as the last 4 topics on this elusive mod.

So, if the truck already has the spare, what does the new bumper do that won't allow you to keep it? The whole twisty ma-bobber thingy that lowers the tire that's embedded in the bumber?

It has nothing to do with the bumper. It's due to the exhaust being routed to the tips in the bumper.

A Y-pipe that has two exhaust pipes (one for each side) feeding into the rear bumper cover is where the spare goes. It's one or the other. Can't have both.

Can't you find some sneaky ninja way of routing the exhaust system around it? Like is it possible? Or just terribly difficult? Or inconvenient?
Also, if "no" to all of those questions, could you just have one pipe and leave the other empty just for looks?

Well someone already tried to stick a spare in between the pipes and basically rubber tire + large amounts of heat from exhaust pipes = no beuno.
Also, the one pipe/leaving one empty would look pretty... ghetto fabulous.

This Tahoe owner might be able to provide some insight... he still has the spare in place with a dual setup exiting the rear.
