unbolt flat.. drop spare.. bolt spare up.. the overall tire height will be the same or damn close... even 2" doffrent will get your ass off the side the free way and to a tire shop.. the rims do not have to match..

I believe it to be computer generated. 2012 Escalade Premiums equipped with this bumper do not come with a spare tire.
So, if the truck already has the spare, what does the new bumper do that won't allow you to keep it? The whole twisty ma-bobber thingy that lowers the tire that's embedded in the bumber?

Also, OP, how much did the materials cost, if you don't mind me asking?

A Y-pipe that has two exhaust pipes (one for each side) feeding into the rear bumper cover is where the spare goes. It's one or the other. Can't have both.
Well someone already tried to stick a spare in between the pipes and basically rubber tire + large amounts of heat from exhaust pipes = no beuno.
Also, the one pipe/leaving one empty would look pretty... ghetto fabulous.
