2004 Yukon 6.0 45k When I drive for long distance 2hrs or more, stop for hour or so then restart and drive for short time and stop when I restart the oil pressure goes past 80psi pegs out and sometimes the gauge will go to 5psi with same scinaro when it is hot out side 100+. I have found no change in motor noise or performance? I took to dealer and oil gauge showed normal, dealer said no problem found? how can I test , at $125 a shot to go to dealer.please any help

You need a new oil pressure sensor...(it's behind the intake manifold driver side:hands:).

Yeah, get a new sensor and do an oil change, especially if you haven't done one in a while, dirty oil can actually raise oil pressure some!
