I prefer lifted.... But a lowered one on 22s would be useless on our farm...lol

I gotta say, I had a lowered S-10 back when I was 18. I lowered it 5 inches in the front and 6 inches in the rear. Threw on some 17's in the front and 18's in the rear. That thing was ON THE MAT! Looked awesome, and handled well. Didn't bottom out, but was an incredibly bouncy, rough ride, not because it wasn't done properly, but just because it was what it was. I loved it for a few months, but then got me a daily driver. I enjoyed the truck, but didn't really enjoy riding in it.

I recently picked up a Yukon XL, and lifted it a little, and really like it. It rides factory, and the ride height is really nice. I think I am going to enjoy it much more in the long run.

On the NBS Hoes, and Kons I like leveled, or lowered. To me they just don't look right with a big lift. Now the Burbs, and XL's look good both ways to me. That being said there is a white Hoe on here that has a (I think 3/4in) smaller lift that looks good. (He posted earlier in the thread...)

A 4x4 needs to be slightly lifted/leveled. For a daily driver, a leveled trucks is probably the best. A 6 inch or more lift will be a bear to handle on the highway with some wind

ive always had lifted trucks ever since i got bit by the mod bug. lowered my burb 3/5 on 24's a year ago, and while i like the look, the ride isnt great and im being drawn back to the lifted side... probably gonna go to a 6" lift 35/20 setup in the next couple months

Lowered all the way. I respect the lifted but I break out in hives if I'm at stock height too long

You need to take into consideration what you plan to do once your suspension is modified. I've had both and I spent a lot more money maintaining a lift. I'm not lifting a truck unless I plan on off roading with it. Depending on how hard you ride, you could be breaking things that are expensive to replace. I'm enjoying the low life right now. Initial cost was dropped to lower the hoe and I haven't spent a cent on anything since.
