OEM nav system

So i just bought a 2009 Tahoe LT and noticed it had a camera just above the license plate. It does not have the nav system in the dash but rather the plain jane stock radio nor does it have bose. How would i find out if this did have it but before someone traded it in they swapped head units out? I can get an OEM screen from a buddy that runs a salvage yard but want to make sure it would work first. Any suggestions?

Not sure what year it started ('09 or '10), but camera without nav screen usually means it's in the rear view mirror on the drivers side of it. maybe there's a way to turn the lcd screen on and off?

Is it noticeable in the mirror that the screen would show up? I don't see a switch anywhere to turn it on or off.
