It is 100% normal for GM Trucks to make this noise it IS the oil pump priming. I had a 2016 - 2017 -2018 and a 2019 Sierra Denalis all 6.2 engines and they all made this exact same noise on cold startup. It is not noticeable if you start it from inside the truck but can be quite loud on a remote start where you are standing outside the truck LOL but trust me it is not an issue that you should be concerned about at all. Lots of other issues though so I had to go to the "dark side" I am now driving a Toyota....
