LOL he was well aware of the condition of the tips and saw pics prior to sale.

Why did you have to cut the hanger? We know you have a problem pulling out by eveidence of 87 kids, but was it that hard to pull through the rubber grommet?

It was giving me problems when I was trying to pull it out of the grommet and I was low on patience that day So I turned what would have been 15 minutes fighting with that grommet and the hanger into 2 minutes and done.

this is true. I figured for the price, I could get a new one welded on for next to nothing hopefully

Give me trouble may be a stretch. Too impatient to care much? That's pretty accurate LOL If it was someone else's ride I would have taken the time. At the time I didn't have plans on selling the part I'm sure Cody can get it fixed back up for next to nothing, though. Easy fix.

I was on the fence about buying a new one or doing a turn down, and I knew that @07Burb here had been through both world so I decided to give him a shout. One thing led to another and wouldn't you know I had some SLP tips and a set of mirror caps (which are the ones I just recently wrapped) on the way lmao. Luckily I've started to find some smaller less known shops that are tucked away that are really good at what they do and will do most work for next to nothing.
