dosent that year have a pcb? My 89 sierra has circuit boards in the rear and when i replaced them, everthing was fine.

Wiring issue. Also check the contacts where the bulb touches. If they are corroded use some steel wool or sandpaper and clean them up. Otherwise maybe a loose wire. Had this probem on the gfs talon and just simple rewire of a broken ground and it works great.

Sounds like the plate that the bulbs plug into. Try swapping sides and see if the problem moves

There is a fuse in the underhood fuse panel for that. Each side has its own fuse. Same thing happened to my lil brothers 01 Tahoe. I was probing wires all under the truck trying to find a broken wire, and THEN I found out it was simply a blown fuse.

^^^ then wouldn't the front TS not work then? its doing the fast blink which made me think initially it was a bulb, and dont worry I bought all the blinker fluid the store had and it didnt help:headbang:

incorrect info. that does not apply to an obs platform.

guarenteed it is the circuit board that attaches to the lens. I have a 99 that drove me crazy. Swapped sides and the problem followed. It is a bad circuit card the bulbs plug into.
