Hi, can anyone tell me what the controller on the firewall next to the hydro booster is? It is the one to the right in the picture.
Thanks in advance.

What year Yukon?

if 07-14 it's a heated windshield washer fluid. They actually stopped using it and removed it from all vehicles.

Mines an 07. And that would explain why it's gone on mine and I have wires just hanging. The picture was from one on the net.

I have an 07 Yukon Denali. It does NOT have hydro boost. How would I know if the washer fluid system has been disabled or not? Here is a picture of that area on mine: View media item 28099

Heated washer fluid option was available from 2007-2009. There was a recall and GM de-activated the units and reimbursed the customers the cost of the option, about $75. However, a company makes a new one that does not get so hot and plugs right back in. You can tell if you had the option or not by looking for the button below your HVAC controller.

Most guys have 3 switches here, if you have the heated washer fluid and power running boards you can have up to 5.

Here is a pic, second from the right??? I pushed it with the key on and its little light did NOT come on?? I looked in the under hood fuse box and #7, WS washer, has a good fuse in it. Where else should I look to see if my washer fluid heater is working??

When they disabled the system on my 2007 and gave me my $100, they cut the wire going to the heater and put a heat shrink cap over the wire. Poke around your washer fluid tank and see if there is a stray cable that goes nowhere. The heater was on the tank itself, if I recall correctly and I believe they pulled them because the heater would get too hot and possibly melt the tank.

I have a 2001 gmc yukon slt with a box in the same place and I believe mine is the cruise control module. Could be something different on yours being newer but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
