new system 2000 yukon 154db@37hz/ New box and new shoes.

I just purchased a 2000 yukon with the intent of building a good street beat system. It consists of 4 Sundown Audio Zv3 15's, 4 dd M2A amps, 2 batcap 4000 batteries, a batcap 2000 battery. a dual alternator setup.

So far it has done a best of 154db's @ 37hz. Here's some pics. Enjoy

Wow, awesome system. A lot of people like Sundown. TBH, I've never even heard of them until recently. Just shows how long I've been out of the loop. But I hear nothing but good things about their speakers. And that magnet is huge! I'm sure it rocks! Audio technology doesn't seem like its changed much since I was looking into systems. Rockford, JL, kicker and a few others were the only good ones around. Most of the speakers they had back in 1998 are the same as today.

I'm impressed with sundown. The price is good, and the handle the power. There a 1500rms sub, and i'm feeding them 3000rms each.

I'm not sure what they are. They were on there when i bought it. I'm going to change then for some black 20's. just not sure which ones.

Do you have a pic of the finished product? I'd like to see how it looks in your ride. Did you mount the amps under the seats? How much do those speakers run a piece?

Not yet. I'm still building on it. And no, the amps are under the box. The Zv3 15's retail for $570 each.
