The new stereo system build starts tomorrow!!! I can wait. I finally decided on using all Kicker Product. The line-up will be as follows.
4-L7 12" subs
2-1500.1 Mono-blocks
2-650.4 4 channel amps
3-pair QS6.5 componants
6-Optima Yellow Top Batteries
1-Ohio Generator 305 amp alternator
5-rolls Fat Mat Rattle Trap sound deadner

All of this work is being done for a tech article. I will post pics when it is approved by the magazine.

The 6 yellow tops seems a little excessive.

I had two 12" L7's and a 600.4 amp, new speakers... I only had one battery and I could play for a little while with my engine off and not worry about it dying.

yeah man 3 would work, that's not a lot of amperage for more than 4... I rock ~8k watts with 4 D3100's (powermasters)

btw good pick on ohio gen...

build sounds sweet. I agree on the 6 batteries being a little much but it will still be cool.

I’ve never used Optima, but back in the day always wanting one. Never got around to it though.

What’s wrong with Optima?
