Got my 3rd DC Lvl 4/Lvl 5 Coils. Box is 14 cubes after displacement tuned to 38 hz. Ill drop the tuning later, MECA is finally coming to Washington so i tuned it a little higher than my likings for that. Amp is still the same DC 3000.1 but its now wired to .67 ohms daily. Right after i installed the 3rd sub i managed a 150.1 @ 41hz on the termlab outlaw style with the front door open. Shooting for 150's sealed up in the dash soon.

Also, met up with a few buddies, one of em has a white 2001 tahoe, hes running 4 15'' Memphis Mojo's (older versions) off an RD Audio D9 (6k+ rms) with triple DC alts and a stock alt.

is the 240 amp alternator enough for your setup, and are those stock alternators your buddy has, and also you mentioned that you are running your stock battery up front which I assume is your standard wet battery, how does it interact with the two kinetiks

i need to get a new camera to take a pic of my current setup before its gone due to my baby now.
im running 3 Audiopulse axis 12's doing 152.4 sealed up on the dash with a termlab.
running a SounDigital SD8000 at 1.6..so give or take 8000rms, maybe a little more seeing that the amp does 8000 @ 1ohm at 12.6..
got 3 2400's, 1 240amp alt and 1 300amp alt from dom.

i loved the dc lv5's when i heard um

Yes it is enough, when i had 2 subs it was wired to 1 ohm, didnt have too much of a voltage drop. Now that its wired to .67 daily it is dropping more than id like to see it. I might get a 3rd kinetik, i will do dual alts eventually. And yes im running stocker up front, no problems, usually your not going to see an issue running different batteries. at least i have never with all my vehicles.

that sounds nice, ive always wanted to hear those axis, they look nasty in videos. my buddy here in WA has a trailblazer with 2 18'' lvl 5's off a sundown 4500d, his whole truck looks like jello with those beasts.

and no those are definitely not all stock alts, only the one in the factory spot is haha. the other 3 are DC power 270 amp alternators.

he needs a 4500 on each running those LVL5's.. and 18's at that.but would need 3-4 alts and atleast 3-4 good batteries to keep up.

i was originally doing 2 audioque hdc18's with 3000rms on each when i got rid of the 3 13w7's i was running but ended up with the axis b/c i got a great price.
as much as i love kinetik 2400's... XS Power D3100 out perform them easy. i also really like the powermaster batteries the XS Power D3100 are around $350 though vs $225 for the kinetik's...
you mentioned you'll eventually do dual alts...just wanted to let you know you can get a dual alt kit with a 300amp alt for $500
