Hows everyone? A few months ago i bought a 98 Yukon with 91,000 miles and a brand new motor for cheap money. A couple months ago i got a code for #5 misfire. plus and wires are brand new. so i changed the cap and rotor. ran good for 10 minutes. a week later i got a code p300 multi misfire. the other night i left work and it felt like i was running on 5 cylinders. i gave a little gas and i got a pop and it stalled and wont start back up. now when i try to start it i get popping out of the muffler sounds like its out of time. could it be the spider injection that crapped out? im kinda ruling out the brand new gm crate motor timing chain. the distributor gear was also a possibility. has this happened to anyone else? whats the answer to fix it? help!!!!!
