Hi everyone! I have been lurking around a bit and thought I should finally introduce myself. About a year ago I purchased a 2009 GMC Yukon SLT. It’s about to turn 125k miles and has been great for my family thus far. At this point the only work I have done to it was swapping the alternator to the gm 160 amp alternator after the oem unit failed, plastidipped the factory 20’s black, and removed the door trim that was half peeled off already.
After recently replacing the rotten sway bar link (which turned out to not even be connected) I am giving the entire front end a refurbishment. New oe lower arms, wheel bearings, and the Cognito 3” leveling kit are on order. Very excited to begin, and will be sure to document the build as I go.
Thank you all for your contributions to this site and for this great place to connect!
