Aaanyhoot, before Lee derails this thread further, let us know if we can spend any more of your money on lighting or anything else ... this is our fetish.

I contacted BFC and JB is going to hook me up. His prices are not that bad for what you get!!! I'm pretty damn excited about it. :)

not useless lol. hey, this is my first post to this forum and I could have gotten flamed pretty bad. I can tell this is a good place to get solid info and the folks here so far are pretty cool. 3 pages in and you saved another idiot from putting hid's in a halogen housing, and you pointed them in the right direction to get something he couldn't find! I think it's a win-win!! thanks! :party36:

You may want to see if you can get the new Mini D2S projectors. They are about the same price and you can use OEM bulbs with them. Check them out at theretrofitsource. They are supposed to have better distance lighting than the H1's. Plus, OEM bulbs are always better.

Please don't use mini d2s, any benefit from OEM bulbs is going to be more than negated by the terrible output they have.

If you want to use OEM bulbs then buy an oem projector like the rx350, otherwise you're better off with H1 projectors and xb h1 bulbs than the mini d2s with oem bulbs.

Oh I see, I've actually been away from hidplanet for a while so I haven't kept up with new product releases. Do they have square shrouds for them? Not sure how that will look in a Yukon housing.
