Hey guys,
Im in the process of doing a tune up on the Hoe, and was wondering what you guys did with the heat shields from the spark plugs??

I am using MSD Wires and AC Delco plugs, the heat shield doesnt stay as tight with the MSD Wires and i dont want them just wiggling around...

Any suggestions? Did you keep yours or just leave them off?

Thanks guys!

Are you referring to the exhaust manifold heat shields?

He's referring to the ones around the plug wire boots. You can remove them, many people have...just keeps the wires from getting too hot BUT I don't believe anyone has melted a set by removing them. At least it's not a common problem.
