need help tire fitment

Ok I need help with tire size clearence for my 2001 Tahoe 2 wheel drive lowered 2"/3" I have factory GM LTZ Tahoe 20" rims I want the meatest tire I can safetly run and clear? What sizes do ya'll, or have Ya'll run, Those of you with a similiar setups? Or others that may know?

Why not? ¼” is nothing. You don't need to swap the lugs or anything. Visually nobody can tell.

You can run 275/55/20s all day. You could probably get away with a 285 width tire and maybe even a 305 w/ some trimming.

Yeah go for 285/50/20 that's what I'm running I like them because of the wider stance

¼” won't affect anything. It's not like you're modifying or fabricating something to make it work. These are just spacers you slip on over the lugs right being the wheels.

ok well i got 4 275-55-R20 tires from a friend for free.

305/50/20. Running them in a Nitto 420S currently with very very minimal rubbing only at full lock.
