need help solving a Hvac Problem.

I have a problem with my hvac. i hear a squeaking noise coming from under the dash. it sounds like an o-ring is spinning and is squeaking against some plastic. I have the dual temp manual slider controls. i also have rear heat controls that work.

I have noticed that if i have heat blow on the dash and feet, the heat for the feet blows cold but the dash blows at whatever temp i set it to. also when i put it on the winshield defrost, it blows luke warm but not hot. if i have it on defrost and feet, the defrost is luke warm and feet blows cold.

i tried to search for my problem but could not come up with anything. what could be causing my issue.
