Here's my dilemma I got 22"s a couple of months ago paid $300 for them cash.
Anyways since then I haven't been to thrilled with the ride quality of them.
Don't get me wrong I like the way they look etc but idk if I want to do 22"s anymore.
So I have been posting on Craigslist for someone to trade me stock 20" LTZ wheels. Anyways a guy called me today and has a set that are on his avalanche.
They need tires they are pretty bald. So he is willing to swap his wheels with mine and give me $600 cash so I can get brand new Toyo tires.
I am sort of confused now if I should keep the 22"s I do love the chrome look but you don't see many 2002 Tahoes with LTZ wheels.

Help what would you do and any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated.

Here is a picture of my Tahoe with my 22"s on it

Oh the pink bowtie is killing me :) The ltz wheels seem to look kind of dull in the picture, again you should be able to just polish them.I really like the wheels you have on it now too.

I love chrome rims on a white truck ... but I think 20s look better on NBS trucks, and obviously ride more comfortably.

Perhaps it'd be best to wait for a set of chrome oem 20s to pop up either here or on CL?

So you think I should just keep my chrome 22"s?

my scary ass would have him meet me at a tire shop so I can make sure his wheels have no leaks but other then that I would get them.I would never buy a truck without factory wheels so im sure other people feel that way which will help youre resale value when you need it!!

OEM 20's FTW ;) I also think 20's fit the NBS trucks really well. I have a great ride on mine. Tire choice plays a big role on your overall comfort as well....

Those look a little dirty but nothing a little elbow grease can't fix......you should have taken a rag to them and see how much of that dirt came off-just to make sure they aren't stained from brake dust. One of my biggest pet peeves-really nice cars that are clean but the front rims especially are just black from brake dust.

As long as the 20's are in nice shape then do it. I do agree to meet at the tire shop so that you can be sure the wheels are true.
