if it is 4wd check the front differential mounts, had to replace mine

I just replaced mine on my 07 AWD, and it solved a mystery clunk noise that has plagued me for almost 2 years.

Ya, everything was good on mine and that was the only other thing it could have possibly been one side was completely deteriorated. it did take a while to figure it out though.

His truck is a 2500 (3/4 ton)... the suspension on his is completely different than our 1500 (1/2 ton) trucks.

2500's have leaf springs out back and torsion bars up front.
