Mystery Connector??

Hello, this is my first post here as I'm new to the forum. Was interested in whether someone could help me identify a mystery connector next to my rearview mirror. A little background info though, I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ fully loaded up.

Under the plastic cover next to the rainsense auto wipers sensor I have what looks like an RJ11 connector that isn't plugged into anything. Any ideas on what this is?

Since I'm the second owner of the vehicle I was more interested in whether this was a factory connector or something the previous owner may have added for some reason.

Might be a power connection for a Valentine radar detector?

My ****** Passport uses an RJ11 connector and I believe most other radar detector companies use this style cord for power and/or auxiliary muting controls. I would guess that's what it's for, especially given the location it's in. If you see something similar to this anywhere in your vehicle, it's definitely for a radar detector:

Looks exactly like the plug for my V1 detector. Guessing the previous owner had a hard wire plug in for his detector.

Mine is set up almost exactly the same.

I traced it to what was an unexplained power connection in the fuse panel under the hood. So yea, it was a power / ground connection for what I think was a radar detector.
