Anyone ever have the power fold mirrors just have no power? No response to the switch, happened all of a sudden all other electronics seem to be working fine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the fuse. #14 on the dash fuse panel is for power mirror

Does all the other switches on the door work (windows, locks, mirror adjust)?

There is a fuse for the drivers door module, not sure what all that controls, but it's #4

Everything works but I also noticed my radio won't turn on when the key is in the on position only when the truck is turned on.

Notice any loose wiring under the dash? They can get knocked around easily. Might also see if you’re getting power to the fuse location. Can you hear the mirror motors trying to work? I wouldn’t think both gears would fail at once. You might also check your ground cables under the hood.

Also check under the driver's door underneath the body there are 2 grounds to clean.

I cleaned those after my stereo lost power and works great now

Just got my stuff in to fix my yukon. I am removing the poor ground for the battery with new #2 guage cable and other ground under the hood. As well the transgo is to fix the soft shifting my yukon has had. I have to let off the throttle to get it to shift.

I was informed to use welding cable as some automotive supply places will have copper coated aluminium. This stuff will withstand 2000 amps for just the battery ground. The roll of 20 feet wasn't too bad. About 60 bucks

Just need some wrenches and sandpaper or a dremel like I used. My cd changer never worked but lost power to the stereo and the mirrors would lose power intermittently. Just clean the 2 grounds under the driver's door. That should help. Mine were rusted bad. Soon as I did that power all the time now. Oh and there is another by the driver's side driving light. Clean that one as well it was rusted on mine bad. The computer grounds there.

Got it on the tech 2 today

Driver side mirror switch cuicut open

Passenger side switch short to ground.

All windows locks ect work I can see the action in the tool when I press the button.

I think I either have a bad mirror or switch on passenger side.

Anyone know of the passenger side switch has to be programmed when new like the driver side?

Since it's both mirrors most likely the ground contacts under the driver's door. Just in one raised rail. Clean both contacts. Mine were rusted and that happened to me as well as losing power to door locks. Hasn't done it since.

I would still check the grounds under the driver's door first might save you some money. It's right on the body just need a screwdriver and clean those first.

I never had a scan tool. Just had found a post on the forum about grounds and all my locks and windows work without a problem. Best is to use a dremel tool to clean the grounds but if all you have is sandpaper that will do. Never had a problem since. I would lose power to mirrors or locks then they would work for a short bit. It's just under the driver's door across from a rail. Two screws to remove and hopefully that fixes it. Pretty common problem. After I used undercarriage spray to seal the grounds so they don't rust again.
