SW CT,
As some of you know I decided to get rid of my tahoe after killing the 4L60 for the 2nd time, well I replaced it with something a bit beefier.
Specs are 2011 2500 Suburban, black granite color with ebony interior, truck has everything but Nav which I didn't want anyways.
Currently I am looking at wheels for it, not sure which way I am going as far as chrome or black wheels, overall the truck will be similar to the look my tahoe had.

Looks like a nice ride. Are the 2500 burbs pretty comparable spec wise to a 2500 truck? What motor?

Nice Burb. It will definitely hold up better than the Tahoe did!

Very Nice. I just wouldn't want to put gas in it. EPA says 10 city and 15 highway so the best you can probably do real world is 8 and 13 if you baby it. Yikes! I guess we don't buy our big SUV's for mileage.

Yeah pretty much the same specs. torsion bar front/leafspring rear with a 14-bolt rear axle and a 6L90e trans. motor is the 6.0L with VVT no DOD/AFM

If I were to buy a 2500 Suburban, I would leave the stock wheels on it. Why? Because they are somewhat unique and identify it as a 2500 Suburban. It would have been nice if they had been chromed. Or have them chromed one by one.

Another thing that identifies it as a 2500 is the 8 lugs :D I say go for new rims :hands:

I am not sure your line of thinking here.
