did you cut open your volant box?

NO! The fitment was very poor on the Volant Box.

Fitment Issues:

1) Theres a lid that covers the Box to prevent heat soak. Only 3 out of 4 bolts align.

2) The box doesn't bolt onto inner fender like the OEM One.

I'm currently working out this situation with Volant and Volant1 who is a member here on the boards!

oh wow, i was just wondering cause i was thinking about removing my lid and replacing it with an acrylic plestiglass one and having it etched with the volant logo, just so i can see my filter, but wasnt sure if the acrylic would hold up with the engine heat or if it was just a bad idea in general

just to let you know, those first rims on gregslist wont fit your truck cus there off a ford

Hey thanks! I had my heart set on those. NICE LIP! It was spokes! Plus they tires had alot of thread left and they were a steal. I was gonna color match the spoke black!

I thought 6 lug fords and nissans will bolt onto the hoe. Guess not thanks!!!:Handshake:

Why would you wanna see your airfilter? I honestly like the stock Volant cover. JUST WISH IT FIT

I don't mean to knock on your idea or seem rude.

JK=Pure Sex aka Show SUV aka Driving Advertisement for his business

Clean your air filter every oil change.

Use the $$ for something else.

dude, you make it sound like jk woke up one morning and had his tahoe done at the end of the same day, isnt that the point of mods, to add little things here and there, one by one, until one day you look back and say "wow, that looks awesome"

besides, how much is one sheet of acrylic and a few hours of hands on work?

plus, a powercore filter is nice to look at, imo
