I have to grab a set of mud flaps for my rig to be legal...anyone know of half decent looking ones??

I've checked a number of sites and they all look pretty crappy...

Any folks have photos with them on their rigs?

A picture from the back would be helpful. You might need a pretty big mudflap with your lift and tires.

make some. Mud flaps suck and they are ugly. Make them easily removable too. here are two options. The clear is a better option if you ask me

yosimite goes hard in the paint lol , the clear is a good idea but i could see that looking like hell in a couple months either when you get mud on them and it looks like the dirt is hovering below your bumper and who knows in 6 months they might crack and turn yellow just a thought why dont you get the body molded ones... they might at least look half decent wouldnt hang as low and tech be legal:think:

Are these needed for daily driving or passing inspection?

Just inspection...but if I can find a nice set, I'll keep them permanent; I'm thinking the molded route, but they all seem so cheap looking from photos.

I'm going to investigate grabbing a pair of factory ones.

I found these rear shots

To match the rugged look of your rig, how about a removable hitch mount set like these......

I like you're thinking...but I actually saw a set of these on a few trucks out west and they personally seemed a little big for me.

However, when you posted that pic up, it reminded me of why I need rubber and not molded...i'll break molded when I wheel (picture me driving down a shelf...then snap)!

I just threw out a set of 4 of my truck I had sitting around.

I hear you...I have TONS of Tahoe parts sitting around...I really need to throw out the junk and post up the good stuff for sale!

I was thinking you could throw those on for inspection / towing and pull them back off for wheeling..... easy as pulling pins and hitch to remove??!!

Remember seeing on a different web site people made thier own with some material from home depot

Well i vote for flaps because an ******* in a lifted hummer threw a rock at my winshield on my explorer and put 2 chips in it... Dont be an ass to other motorists and do with bowtie flaps imo

Maybe I will just make a few...I'll find existing bolt holes for the OEM and utilize them!
