Dumb question. Can the mirrors remain folded in without being harmed? I haven't thinned/culled the herd(fleet) since acquiring the Tahoe, and swapped out the Cherokee in the storage unit and inserted the Tahoe. The Jeep fits easily. Tahoe, tight squeeze and the mirrors required folding in to back it into the unit. I didn't think of it at the time to swing them back out, but can go out and do it. Seeing how tight the Tahoe fit, made me realize the 81 won't fit because of the mirrors, but the 65 can because it currently lacks mirrors. Once I decide which vehicle(s) to cull, the storage unit can go away.

Shouldn't cause any issue that would not arise from not being folded for an extended period of time.
Thanks. I figured it would be an issue since they fold in. Got it out of storage yesterday, no problems.

Like other movable parts, keeping a quality lubricant in the mechanism should help prevent future issues.
I never would have thought to lube plastic. What lube would one use for this?
