I have a '04 LT Tahoe with the DL 3 mirror package (Mirror O/S L/H & R/H, Remote Control, Electric, Heated Power Folding, Turn Signal Indicator, Light Sensitive).
My Passenger side mirror doesn't dim or defrost. It adjusts, folds, and the indicator functions.
I also have a '04 Silverado (same option) with the same issue. On the Silverado I did replace the mirror glass with a aftermarket glass. I could swear I ordered one with the dimming & defrost features. The Tahoe I don't know much about it's history, The Silverado I'm the original owner.
Anyone ever have the same problems? What did you do to resolve it?
Thanks

I have an 04 Tahoe Z71. I just got it, but I don't think the outside mirrors dim on mine. They do have LED directional arrows and heat works OK. Someone may have replaced with cheaper version without the dimming. RockAuto has only right side glass with auto-dimming. $312!!!

I can understand why someone would go without that function, if the glass had to be replaced. Ones with just heat and turn indicator can be had for less than $60.

It seems aftermarket passenger mirror glass aren't readily available with the dimming feature. I must have replaced the ones on my Silverado with the turn signal indicators only.
I'll have to put mirrors on my Pic & P
ull list
