Mirror LEDs

Should I buy an oem mirror with LEDs built in or add them for 10 dollars and how hard is it to wire up

i was gonna add the led turn arrows that go on the mirrors to my tahoe, all you have to do is run the wire throiugh down to turn signal and tap it in. im just not sure how to take the mirror glass off and if they go back on for my mirriors. lol

Where are you going to get them for $10?

If they stick on the outside ( which I'm sure they do ) then DON'T DO IT!!!

Your truck is too clean for something like that.

I'm not sure if you doors would have the wires in there already.

But that has to be stuck on the outside of the mirror.

Rockauto sells just the glass with the signals for a better price than the dealer. I remember checking the dealer for a customer and just the glass with the signal in it was about $300 for one. And it's only 2 wires so it should be easy to wire up if you would get them.

I'm no expert at wire tapping or adding wires and sh@t so is there a wire up or somthing and I would have run wires from passeng mirror to fuse box on driver side ????
