Finally got the lift on my wife’s 2016 Tahoe. Went with the mcgaughy 7-9” kit. 22x12 fuel tritons with 325/50 nitto ridge grapplers. I set the struts to 8” and still had to do a little work for the tires to not rub at full lock. Definitely just a mall crawler. Only kit in stock anywhere was for non mag/autoride so I had to extend the rear sensor rods myself for the air shocks. thought about removing the air shocks and all that but the system works so Extending the rods was the easiest route IMO.
Aside from the rear kit missing 3 bolts, it’s a bad ass kit. Great fitment. Waiting on 1.25” wheel spacers to show up to get the rear tires even with the fronts.

Looks bad ass! Thank you for not squatting and for having tires that fit your wheels.

I remember you from S10F. I think it was you that had a Chevy LUV with a 454 in it. Or maybe it was 4x4. I'm just vaguely recalling an avatar of a black LUV with orange lettering/graphics on the side.

LOL yes I hate squatted trucks and stretched tires. And yes I had a black Chevy luv with 4x4 graphics. It was originally 4x4 but I built a full chassis for it and put a ls in it.

I love the look. I hope that you put some coating on your paint on your quarter panels and doors, so that they don't get pelted and scuffed up from the road debris that will get kicked up from those extended tires.
