Hello all,

I am new to the forum and have been searching for information on the MaxTrac 3" front/ 1.5" rear lift kit but I have yet to find anyone with the lift. I have a 2013 Tahoe 4x4, I researched the CCM lift but it is out of stock. Is there a reason no one has used the MacTrac lift? Is 3" too extreme for the CV and ball joints? The lift kit is listed for $200.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Hmm, I've never heard of that brand so I'm not sure. I had a 3" front lift offered to me yesterday and I was thinking about it. If you buy this kit post some pics. The 3/1.5" lift isn't as popular as the 2.5/1". And I also have a 4wd. I don't the the cvs will be affected too much. I think anything more than that and there might be some problems. But I don't ha e experience with more than 3". Someone should chime in soon.

Their parts are a lot cheaper than competitors, so obviously there is a reason. I had a drop kit that I sold on here a year ago. Side by side with a Belltech kit, the Belltech definitely looks higher quality than the MaxTrac. Never installed it so I don't know how the springs rode. Tony (NorcalSS) advised me that the MaxTrac drop kits he used always needed some kind of grinding as the calipers never mounted correctly and were a ***** to align because of the ball joint mount holes.
