LS GenIV ignition coil harness compatibilty.

Would square-body LS3 coils (from GenIV LS3/6.2) fit the harness of a round-body LMG/5.3 truck harness?

Would it be an upgrade?

I can tell you that '07 LS2 coils connect right up. From the information I gathered they are the hottest coils that GM produced..
If you get LS9 valve covers you can throw those ugly coil brackets away.
