Hello! I own a 2004 Yukon slt 5.3, been wanting to install some Longtube headers, but I don’t know what brand to go with. I’ve seen a lot of people that have to hammer the headers and make modifications, which I am prepared to do, but are there any headers that are direct fit? Also, are there any modification I need to do so there is no check engine light. I have hp tuners but I know the bare minimum. Thanks!

Very happy with my ARH Longtubes. No massaging needed, and I'm 4x4. They sound and look awesome. They are a bit costly however..

I just rebuilt the 5.3 in my 02 Yukon SLT and went with Speed Engineering 1 3/4” Longtubes to Off-Road Y-Pipe to Black Widow Venom 250 to 3” pipe and dumped over the rear axle. I paid $460 for both long tubes and y-pipe. Fitment was good too. I’ll get you a video tomorrow so you can hear/see it.
