Long tubes going on tomorrow! anyone else running them?

Stock manifold are junk and have 2 broken manifold bolts so i said **** it not replacing with stock, should go well with my CAI dual exhaust and built trans. Now just need a tune! GF is prego tho so that kind of put a hold on things. anyways, looking for any idea of improvement ill be looking at
Im only 22 but it feels weird to be excited like a little kid on Christmas again lol

Pacesetters are great headers for the money! If they are painted I would use Aircraft Paint Remover and then paint them with VHT Flameproof paint, the paint that comes on them is not designed for high heat and will flake off after a few heat cycles.

For the money the ORY they sell is good but you said you have duals, so would this be true duals?

One of my best friends owns a "Lous Custom Exhaust" around here so im having him do it and he is gonna fab up my y pipe for free so i didnt buy one. and its only dual after the muffler :( which is a magnaflow magnapak

Please let us know what you think after the install? I have been debating headers myself. I would be interested in hearing any performance increases and if it improves mpg.

Do all of the long tube headers need to be modified to make fit? I would love to do this down the road.

Phantom, you had to bang a side in to fit?

are any of you guys running oem spark plug wires? going to get my truck in an hour and just realized i forgot to get MSD ones -_-

You may need to zip tie them up out of the way, not sure how it is on the Yukons but on the trucks you can get by with stock wires.
